Interroll launches modular conveyor platform

Interroll presented its new modular conveyor platform for use in internal logistics to an international audience at CeMAT.

The company already welcomed quite a few visitors to its 400 m2 booth on the first day of the exhibition. They took advantage of the company’s offer to convince themselves of the benefits and high performance of the new modular platform at the event. Visitors were given the chance to obtain in-depth information on Interroll’s complete product range and the new conveyor platform on interactive multimedia terminals at the booth and in personal conversations.

The innovative new platform, the most important product introduction in the 55-year history of Interroll, has a complete modular design and is the company’s response to the challenges that today’s and future material flow solutions face. System integrators, equipment manufacturers and also end customers must find ways to cope with increasingly unpredictable deviations in the flow of goods, changes in order structures and product assortments. Speed is therefore more important than ever before. Furthermore, companies must process an increasing number of smaller individual orders today.

Interroll’s new modular conveyor platform can be flexibly adjusted to suit different customer and user-specific demands. Furthermore, it allows for modern material flow systems to be planned more quickly and easily. In combination with the world’s leading drive concepts from Interroll, this results in material flow systems that are known for their maximum availability and energy efficiency, but also their extremely low operating and maintenance costs.

Paul Zumbühl, CEO of Interroll Worldwide Group says: “We are extremely pleased with the launch of our new modular conveyor platform and delighted to see visitors to the exhibition show so much interest. Our new approach offers customers important advantages ranging from quick planning and installation of the system to short delivery times, high flexibility and higher throughput, not to mention lower energy consumption and a fast return on investment.”
