The IMPCO Reserve Fuel System – Let’s end the Guessing Game

Ever wondered why your average LPG cylinder has only one valve and no fuel level indicator?

Is it to make life more interesting for drivers? Playing a constant game of when to exchange the cylinder? Exchange too early and risk wasting gas and costing money, leave it too late and risk coming to a complete standstill, disrupting productivity and again, costing money.

The average returned fuel cylinder is estimated to have around 15% of the original fill volume of LPG left unused. Simply by using all the fuel paid for will save that 15% of your fuel cost.

The IMPCO Effect
At Marshall’s Industrial we believe that the LPG guessing game puts unnecessary strain on drivers, wastes money and risks productively. As the UK distributor for IMPCO gases fuel systems, we are now big fans and suppliers of the newly developed IMPCO Reserve Fuel Tank system.

The good people at IMPCO clearly felt the same way about risk as we do; ‘best guess’ is just not good enough. They didn’t want to swing the odds in the driver’s favour, they wanted to eliminate the risk altogether. They put some very clever heads together to come up with their brilliant Reserve Fuel Tank System, which will soon be reducing wasted LPG all over the world.

The Reserve System will only kick in when the LPG cylinder is completely empty. IMPCO’s innovative internal design means that the 0.5L reserve tank will always contain liquid gas, rather than gaseous fuel, giving drivers plenty of time to get to the cylinder exchange point.

Key Features of the Reserve Fuel System
Suitable for all models of LPG powered forklifts, at Marshall’s Industrial we couldn’t wait to start supplying these systems to our customers. We supply the complete kit, including wiring loom and LED dashboard light, as well as LPG hoses if required to fit a specific application.

By far the best feature of this new IMPCO system is that it provides drivers with an accurate remaining drive time: surely it’s time to say goodbye to the LPG guessing game and hello to a more efficient and productive way of working.

We don’t think you’ll be disappointed…
As well as meeting the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive, the IMPCO Reserve Fuel System is easy to install, robust in both design and build and of course, guarantees empty fuel cylinders upon exchange. In short, it offers the ultimate solution for fuel cost savings and increased productivity.
