To help reduce the risk of costly damage being caused to plant infrastructure, or even potentially fatal injuries being inflicted to personnel in the event of an explosion, Elfab has developed its most simple and cost-effective explosion vent to prevent such disasters.
The product is said to offer reliability, high performance and corrosion resistance. The non-fragmenting Single-Skinned Explosion Vent range includes Flat and Domed designs in a square or rectangular shape across a full spectrum of specifications to suit individual applications.
Where the Flat design represents Elfab’s lowest-cost solution, the Domed version combines a unique 70% operating ratio with high stability for applications requiring a medium level of vacuum resistance (up to 75% of the minimum burst pressure).
