Palletised contract win
Steve Porter Transport Group has entered into a new national palletised deal with Meachers Global Logistics. The Isle of Wight’s largest independent freight carrier will be delivering 10,000 pallets per year from Meachers’ Nursling warehouse to locations across the UK.
The contract extends the strategic partnership agreement, established in 2012, that sees the businesses co-operate on the delivery of inbound and outbound freight from the Isle of Wight via Southampton.
Meachers will provide Steve Porter with a national full-load service, overnight trunking and a receiving facility for Island based full-loads and groupage freight. Steve Porter will provide a national palletised service for Meachers.
