3PL investing 6-figure sum in solar
The Salvatori Group has invested a six-figure sum in new solar panel projects at its Sittingbourne and Aylesham sites.
The Salvatori Group employs 150 people and has been a member of Palletways UK for seven years. Salvatori’s Sittingbourne operation was created four years ago as a bespoke mini hub dedicated to Palletways customers. Aylesham is currently expanding its Palletways business, adding three new warehouses.
The company is investing in a solar photovoltaics system at each site, which is predicted to generate a combined 295.8 MwH of electricity annually. This is equivalent to a saving of 65.21 tonnes of CO2 annually.
