Womenswear label inks deal with CML
Finery London has picked Core Management Logistics to provide its warehouse and distribution services.
Launched in February, Finery London is being headed up by Caren Downie, former fashion director at ASOS.
The retailer chose CML because “they offer flexibility and constant support in all areas of warehousing and logistics and they are much more than a simple third-party logistics provider to us, they have become a real partner across various points of our supply chain”.
CML has also teamed up with a global returns company ReBOUND to extend its offering to retailers.
ReBOUND, a division of TSB Supply Chain, was developed in response to retailer demand for a robust global returns process. The managed service covers retail returns in 220 countries using trusted, local carriers and payment methods. This enables international shoppers to register and pay for a return online through the ReBOUND returns booking platform.
The solution has been developed to provide a positive, cost-effective returns experience from both a consumer-facing and retailer perspective. Consumers are able to print their returns label and send their items to an in-country address for a fraction of the price it would usually cost through alternative methods. The returned packages are then consolidated before delivering back to the retailer.
