Maximum use of space

One way of increasing storage capacity is to reduce the amount of space between racks, leading to Very Narrow Aisles (VNAs).

This has, in turn, led to the development of various types of VNA forklift trucks which are capable of efficiently storing and retrieving pallets in high-density situations – Magaziner VNA/Aisle-Master and reach trucks.

Carrylift Group
provides a wide range of VNA forklifts and its design team is available to create bespoke layouts of racking, showing the best possible design solution for maximum usage of space.

Each VNA and articulated forklift truck for sale or hire from Carrylift Group is available with an array of optional, customisable features which include:

  • Weight indicator to reduced overloading of either racking or forklift truck.
  • Mast-mounted camera feeding to an in-cab colour monitor. In combination, these will allow for an enhanced picking speed while reducing the risk of racking damage.
  • Hydraulic forks which allow storage of loads in double-deep format for totally maximised storage capacity.
  • Coldstore cab with integral heater to ensure operator comfort.
  • Four-stage mast that provides a combination of low closed and high lift heights (articulated models only).
  • Independent rising fork for safe and efficient shallow-gradient stacking (articulated models only).
  • Rapid battery-change facility to enable multi-shift use with a single vehicle and reduce fleet size.
  • Zone 1 & 2 conversions where forklift truck is to be used in a zoned or hazardous area.
  • RFID to assist operator with reliable aisle location (turret models only).
