Bespoke lifter
Materials handling equipment specialist Lift Safe has provided digital printing services company C3 Imaging with a custom-built lifter to lift large rolls of materials onto its awkwardly-sited digital printing machine.
C3 Imaging had been struggling to find a lifter that had the capacity and the manoeuvrability to lift the 3.2m-wide rolls in a restricted space at its Liverpool premises.
After completing a site analysis, Lift Safe worked closely with C3 to supply a bespoke, easy-to-use 125kg battery-operated lifter to lift the rolls into the digital printing machine, without the working environment being affected.
Lift Safe’s bespoke machine is able to swivel, as C3 needed it to go round a corner and drop down to the correct height so that the reels could be released on the back.
