Cash boost for courier

Specialist courier company, PDQ, has received a £250,000 cash boost to enhance its state-of-the-art fleet. PDQ prides itself on offering a ‘white glove service’ to blue chip companies, transporting consignments worth more than £300m every year, in the the UK, Ireland and Europe.

The dedicated temperature controlled, time sensitive service is used to convey everything from pathology samples and pharmaceuticals, to hazardous materials.

Gary Fletcher, Barclays corporate relationship manager said: “This is a significant investment in a competitive market and paints a very bright future for the business.”

PDQ employs specialist drivers, in a fleet of tri-temperature controlled vehicles, ranging from -25 to +30 degrees, offering refrigerated, controlled room temperature and frozen storage. The company also offers MHRA-approved storage facilities, bio-hazardous logistics and air freight from all their offices.
