Service & installation appointment
Diamond Phoenix Automation has appointed new service and installations manager, David Edge, an experienced maintenance engineer and hands-on manager.
Edge completed a multi-skilled engineering apprenticeship with Rolls Royce and is a qualified electrical engineer with excellent PLC skills. He will be managing both planned maintenance and 24/7 breakdown support for conveyor and ASRS systems installed by Diamond Phoenix, other manufacturers and integrators. He will also be project managing installations of new capital projects.
Director Keith Washington comments: “David joins us at a critical time in our expansion and will have something of a baptism of fire as he spends the next three months working on a £2m+ conveyor system installation with our partners, Cassioli, in Redditch.”
