The Stanley Handling Robur Range looking for FLTA Award

The FLTA Awards of Excellence take place every year and in 2016 (February 27th) Stanley Handling is hoping to celebrate a victory in the Safety category, where its Pedestrian Counterbalanced range of stackers has been nominated as a finalist.

The company is no stranger to the FLTA (Fork Lift Truck Association) Awards, racking up an impressive 4 nominations in the past 5 years but would love to go one better and claim the ultimate prize in 2016.

This particular range (ROBUR) of pedestrian counterbalanced trucks (SBC XTS 600KG – 2500KG) has been specifically designed with safety as a key feature, so it’s no surprise to see it up for an award in this category. The truck has all of the state of the art technology you would expect from Stanley Handling. It features turning cutback speed control which stops the load moving while turning as well as load level speed settings which ensures that the operation of the truck is slowed when loads are raised high in the air, which contributes to safer lifting. It’s a machine that is really easy to operate thanks to its touch responsive power steering and in addition, an operator creep speed (fitted as standard) helps the driver control the truck in confined spaces, which like all of the other features, promotes safety in the workplace.

Although the top prize would be nice, a nomination alone at the FLTA Awards of Excellence is a great seal of approval and recognition of all of the hard work that goes on behind the scenes at Stanley Handling.

However, the voting process is now open and you can cast your vote for Stanley Handling here.
