SEC Storage launches search for best festive desk

SEC Storage is planning to spread some Christmas cheer – and delicious seasonal fare – among office workers and the homeless this festive season!

The company, which specialises in warehouse storage and commercial interior fit outs, is running a social media campaign to find the most festive desk in Hertfordshire and beyond. The competition follows on from its successful summer campaign when over 50 local businesses entered a competition to find the county’s messiest and tidiest desks.

For every entry received SEC Storage will donate £5 to Stevenage Haven, a local charity which provides shelter and support for single homeless people throughout North Hertfordshire. SEC Storage will also be encouraging entrants to match their donation with each entry, with the aim to raise as much money as possible for a new Outdoor Social Area for the charity.

The owner of the best-dressed desk will receive a beautiful hamper full of delicious Christmas treats from award-winning Foxholes Farm in Hertford.

Dean Kahl, PR & Brand Manager at SEC Storage, said: “We were blown away by the response to our summer competition and we hope to get even more entries this time particularly as the more we receive the more we will donate to Stevenage Haven – and of course there’s a great prize for the winning entry.”

The free competition will run from Friday December 4 to Friday December 11 and the winner will be announced the following Monday. Photos of festive desks can be posted via Twitter to @SECGroup using the hashtag #XmasDesk or via the company’s website here.
