MHA Lighting snapped up by private equity firm
MHA Lighting, the North West based LED lighting specialist, has been acquired by private equity firm Investx.
The new company will now be known as Waveguide Lighting and will continue to develop and provide specialist luminaires using its patented Waveguide technology.
Waveguide directs light sideways into a solid, cast acrylic rod. This approach is said to deliver effective lumen output, efficacy, improved light distribution and low glare. Running the LED at extremely low drive currents also generates very little heat at the LED/PCB junction, providing high lumen outputs and extended lifetimes.
