Reduce blind corner hazards
Reacting to customer feedback, Sentry Protection Products has upgraded its Collision Sentry collision warning system to feature a more focused and intense warning light for increased visibility.
The LED lights have been re-positioned and the diffusing lens replaced with one that concentrates the focus of the light beam toward the areas where people can best see it; increasing the intensity of the beam anywhere from five to 20 times. Sentry was able to boost the light’s intensity without compromising energy efficiency.
Introduced in 2014, Collision Sentry reduces “blind corner” collisions that occur when forklift and pedestrian traffic intersect. When motion is detected on both sides of the corner, creating conditions for an accident, the Collision Sentry visually alerts approaching traffic, stopping accidents before they happen.
