Construction gathers pace at key logistics park
A new development is reaching its final stages at Prologis Park Midpoint, in Birmingham. Progress pictures show steel frames complete on site at DC6, ahead of the unit’s projected completion in June this year.

UNDER CONSTRUCTION by Readie Construction, the 163,754 sq ft Grade A unit will built on the 1.6m sq ft Park, delivering additional space to the area.
The unit targets a BREEAM “Excellent” and EPC A+ rating, supporting Prologis’ global net zero in operations target by 2025 and facilitating customer sustainability goals. In line with its strong eco credentials, DC6 features a 278kWp solar PV roof array alongside scalable EV charging infrastructure with future electrification in mind.
The park is located within five miles of 11 motorway junctions.
Prologis UK capital deployment and leasing director James Hemstock, says: “As we look forward to DC6’s practical completion in Q2, we’re keen to welcome a new customer on site in our latest facility. We have had excellent interest in the unit so far, which proves the strength of the location, building quality, and continued demand for space in prime areas.”
