Boxing for charity

Aganto’s sales administrator, Isla Dunning, will be taking part in a charity fight next week for chosen charities Stroke Association and Cardiac Risk in the Young.

Mother to two boys, one being just over a year old, Isla decided to set herself a challenge and raise money for it at the same time.

Training with Burslem-based T6 Boxing Club, Isla has almost completed the gruelling eight-week programme and is preparing to strap on her boxing gloves ready for the charity fights this weekend.

Isla explains: “I decided to do the fight and raise money for the great charity of Cardiac Risk in the Young and also the Stroke Association. I am inspired by their work and wanted to help raise awareness of young sudden cardiac death.

She adds: “Please help and support me in my fight training by giving whatever donation you can to raise my fighting spirit and most of all to boost my fundraising target to give to such a great charity and hope to see many familiar faces on fight night at Biddulph Leisure Centre, Saturday 30th July.”
