Hallgruppen launches to UK market

NORWEGIAN TEMPORARY buildings firm Hallgruppen has entered the UK market and is highlighting the strengths of its offering.

UK general manager Ian Mackenzie explains: “Demountable buildings are to logistics like butter is to bread, and Hallgruppen is a giant in this world. It is now operating directly in the UK, ready to transform the market.”

Hallgruppen has highlighted a number of factors it sees as key to the UK market.

Ian continues: “Short lead times are really important, particularly when the need is driven by changing or unforeseen circumstances, when business continuity is at stake.

“Perhaps the next most important factor is flexibility. In a challenging economy that means the option to rent facilities for a short a period that can be committed to, with fair options once that’s complete.

“Finally, factors such as cost-effectiveness, suitability, choice of specifications/options, scalability, versatility, resilience, compliance and relevant experience in similar situations and sectors all matter.”

Hallgruppen provides a variety of solutions from a simple covered loading canopy to a cross-dock enclosure or buildings to support other aspects of transportation, for example vehicle workshops, to entire warehouse solutions – standalone or extensions, low care or high, ambient or chilled.

“Our many years’ experience steadily expanding our business across our European depots with substantial worldwide sales has allowed us to quickly stock a warehouse here,” says Ian. “The operation will allow us to offer rapid deployment (days not weeks) of common specs and sizes of structure.

“Thanks to our substantial Norwegian head office engineering team we can offer entirely bespoke structures (from unique designs to the monstrously huge), also on short lead times.”

The structures come with the full range of fittings and options; a wide range of doors and loading docks, lighting and electrics, heating and ventilation, alarms, safety and monitoring, fire resilience and prevention, fencing and partitions, solar panels and off-grid, canopies, windows, or just the shell of the building.

Beyond the logistics world and distribution hubs, Hallgruppen has a wealth of experience supplying bulk storage solutions (including its own innovative designs and features) to locations such as ports and airports.
