Warehouse development in Slovakia’s Automotive Valley

Property firm Invest4SEE has announced the development of a 91,216 sq m warehouse in Slovakia.

The property is alongside the D1 motorway at the Industrial Park Dubnica and is spread over 20 hectares. The facility is located in the heart of Slovakia’s ‘Automotive Valley’ – upon completion of Jaguar’s Nitra plant, four car plants can be reached within 90 minutes driving distance.

Close to 70,000 sq m of the space have been pre-leased to Continental Matador Rubber, part of German automotive giant Continental AG. The remaining space is available for lease.

Oliver Schenk, principal with Invest4SEE says: “Invest4SEE Industrial Park Dubnica is our first development in Slovakia and part of our strategy to expand in more CEE countries. We believe in location and the Slovak market as the leading car producing market in terms of car per capita ratio on a global level. We are honoured getting appointed for a second project from Continental AG, for which we developed in 2015 a similar 45,000 sq m warehouse in Romania. The Park will offer state-of-the-art logistic and production facilities, which will create a significant number of new work places in the region and implements newest energy saving technologies.”
