New Look appoints supply chain partner
The three-year contract begins in July 2023 and will see Wincanton provide national transport services from the retailer’s national distribution centre in Newcastle-under-Lyme to replenish stock at New Look’s 400 stores across the UK and Republic of Ireland.

NEW LOOK distribution centre general manager Becky Pallas, says: “We’ve accelerated our ecommerce business and so it is only right that we have a partner like Wincanton that can expertly support us with both elements of our supply chain operations. We’re looking forward to working with Wincanton as we continue to grow and become a truly omnichannel retailer.”
Wincanton will support New Look in deliveries for click-and-collect services, offering customers flexibility in how they shop, as well as driving footfall to stores. This channel has seen continued growth at the retailer in recent years, with an increase in Click and Collect as a mix of online order types improving from 17% in early 2021 to 31% thanks to recent investments.
The contract includes the deployment of Wincanton’s Winsight technology designed to help deliver real-time visibility on the location of New Look’s stock, proof of delivery, and optimisation of delivery routes; reducing waste and carbon emissions.
