Each pedestrian that works in the specified “danger” area will be issued with an active RFID transmitter that continually emits a dedicated radio frequency, this is then detected by a truck based unit.
Once the signal has been reached it can do one of many things such as activate a sounder, activate a flashing beacon or even slow the truck down automatically (depending on vehicle type).
