Bespoke approach
Faced with the challenge of installing a conveyor system in a new operation can be a nightmare – your specific need is almost certain to be unique in some way and it is virtually impossible to go to a catalogue and find the solution, warns MiniTec.
The operational and functional specification is usually specific to your needs but also you may have critical installation and space limitations for the equipment especially if you are installing it in an existing operation rather than starting from scratch.
The ideal answer is to work with a flexible modular system that can be tailor-made to your needs. Such systems offer the highest degree of flexibility in terms of design and construction and some systems offer additional features which make the solution more sustainable and will help reduce cost and wastage in the event of a system having to be dismantled and relocated or extended.
The modular aluminium profile system manufactured by MiniTec offers an extremely wide range of profile lengths and shapes together with innumerable accessories but it is the fixing and locking mechanism which offers a neat solution to the assembly and reassembly of a system where you do not want to have to discard costly components purchased for the initial install.
At the heart of the MiniTec system is the Powerlock fastening method which requires no specific preparation, pre-machining or special tools and uses standard off the shelf fasteners. The use of standard M8 fasteners reduces the cost of the overall package of profiles and locking system considerably compared with many other systems which incorporate brand specific locking systems. Thus the only tool required to set up or dismantle a MiniTec system is an Allen Key.
Diverse applications can be satisfied with MiniTec modular aluminium profile systems, such as a esktop conveyor system just 800mm long, 100mm wide and driven with one of the geared motors supplied by the client who needed a small conveyor to move components in the manufacturing operation. This conveyor system has an unusually long 9 metre belt and is used for sorting cast zinc sawn parts.
Another example is a large scale and complex handling system at a bottling handling application.
