Juice Stored Energy nominated for FLTA Supplier of the Year

The independent stored energy specialist is delighted to announce it has been nominated as a finalist for the Fork Lift Truck Association Award 2018.

Managing director Andrew Clarke says: “As an active participant of the FLTA for 20 years, and a winner of supplier of the year in 2003 with my former employers EXIDE, I made a promise to myself that I would head up a team that would also be held in high accolade for outstanding delivery of service and product.

“It is an honour to lead Juice Energy alongside an association such as the FLTA and work with dynamic and experienced people that assist us in achieving our future goals.”

The category is regarded as one of the most important prizes at the FLTA’s Annual Awards for Excellence.

Organiser Sarah Lawrence says the award is ‘voted by the FLTA Membership, it recognises those companies working tirelessly to keep our Members – and our industry – in business’.

Juice Stored Energy, formally known as Fortis Battery Care has re-branded and re-aligned for 2018. Fortis Battery Care grew rapidly to 48 employees in 6 years offering first class industrial battery services across the UK. Existing blue chip clients include Tesco, Nestle, ALDI/Booker, Wincanton, Toyota TBH & Next.

Juice Stored Energy is now a fast growing, independent stored energy specialist maximising opportunities across a range of sectors. The new organisation allows companies to be less dependent on the energy grid, be it a warehouse or retail environment Juice offers the option of self-management and autonomy from grid providers. Delivering flexibility and cost control within facilities where parked up material handling batteries can be used as part of a microgrid for general power.

Ambitious business plans also incorporate a range of additional products including uninterrupted power supplies for hospitals or data centres, anywhere that requires a backup, stored energy device. Emerging sectors, for which NDAs are in place, include solar energy and electric vehicles. Exciting initiatives that could change the face of how we view energy procurement. Irrespective of the arena Juice will provide the expertise to both create and support the necessary infrastructures.

The Awards take place on Saturday 24th February at the Telford International Centre.
