Relocatable walls

Effectively managing stock is a key part of business and it’s important to find the right balance: for stock to be sold it must be available but storing unnecessary items all year round can be wasteful and expensive, says Westgate.

During seasonal spikes such as Christmas or summer, warehouses may find that they have extra stock or different types of stock compared to the rest of the year. Because this is only a temporary measure it makes sense to store this in a separate area. This means the stock can be easily accessible and levels can be quickly and accurately obtained, you don’t have to incorporate new stock into your existing systems, which will only be temporary anyway and you can store incompatible products e.g. food/non-food within the same warehouse.

A really simple and cost-effective way to use existing space wisely is by creating a separate storage area to segregate your stock, by using warehouse partitions.

The company says: “Our Flexiwall is a semi-permanent and relocatable wall that can be used to create storage space within a warehouse. Warehousing and logistics companies use our high-grade solutions to segregate or divide large spaces and our flexible systems are especially suited to those with stringent environmental, energy and acoustic requirements. Flexiwall is easily installed around existing immovables e.g. walls, columns and between back-to-back racking and once in place is completely secure.”
