Fine for bread basket misuse

Two Essex-based bakeries and their directors have had to pay £10,000 in court costs and damages, as well as agreeing to accept a Court Order permanently preventing them from any future misuse of bread baskets and other equipment belonging to Bakers Basco and its members.

During an Injunction hearing in the County Court at Clerkenwell and Shoreditch on July 9 2018, four defendants – London Wholesale Bakery Limited and its director Ricky Paul Ramsay and Breadcraft Limited and its director Paul Anthony Ramsay – agreed to an indefinite Order committing them to both return all equipment in their possession and be restrained from misappropriating it in the future. They also agreed to pay the sum of £10,000 in damages and legal costs.
