3M to tackle technical questions live at Health & Safety Scotland 2018

3M, one of the world’s leading providers of safety equipment and technology, has announced it will once again partner with Western Business Exhibitions, organisers of the Health & Safety Events portfolio, to create a live Q&A technical forum titled Safety Dialogue at this year’s Health & Safety Scotland, held at the SEC, Glasgow on the 12 – 13 September 2018.

A popular feature with attendees with its first appearance at the 2017 event, sessions in the Safety Dialogue programme comprise of panel-led discussions from experts and experienced end-users as they debate hot technical issues in the safety industry today including; Working at Height, Using RPE, Managing Noise & Vibration and Training and Competence. 

Attendees will then have the opportunity to put their questions to the experts who include representatives from 3M, ATLAS, NASC, Ladder Association, Scottish Council on Deafness and IOSH.  

Steve Crouchley, senior marketing executive for Personal Safety at 3M said: “The Safety Dialogue programme at Health & Safety Scotland is a unique opportunity for safety practitioners to access some of the best advice and expertise all in one forum.”

The Safety Dialogue theatre is one of the many features at this year’s event which returns under the theme ‘Working together for a safer Scotland’, and promises to provide a wealth of networking and educational opportunities to anyone responsible for running a safe and efficient workplace.

The educational programme will comprise of two theatres and features a whole new range of seminar content, legislation updates and interactive sessions over the two-day programme – all of which is professionally CPD accredited.

Health & Safety Scotland is the only free-to-attend b2b exhibition dedicated to Scotland’s safety industry and in 2018 is co-located with Fire Safety Scotland and Facilities Scotland. The events are part of the Scotland Works event series which promises to be a key date in any Scottish safety professionals diary.
