Better use of space
Paper Bags Packaging recently renovated its 1,000m2 warehouse at its facilities in Valencia, Spain with the goal of making a better use of the space available.
The company relied on AR Racking for the design and installation of a semi-automatic high-density pallet storage solution: AR Shuttle.
The solution uses powered shuttles to automatically carry loads into the rack. With this system Paper Bags Packaging has optimised the use of floor space and height available, minimising the operating aisles. In addition, this system allows the automatic control of the inventory thanks to the sensors included in the shuttle that count the stored pallets. With this installation Paper Bags Packaging has now 540 positions available for the palletised storage of paper, cardboard, bags and other materials.
