Expanded base
UPM has reported a record year for 2018/2019 resulting in further expansion of its manufacturing base in Langley, Berkshire.
In addition, recruitment and a router has catered for the c. 50% increase in orders for its belt conveyors. These operate on zero maintenance without the need to track or tension the belt.
All aspects of manufacture are carried out in-house including fabrication; programming and control build allowing complete control of quality / inspection and maintaining delivery promises.
UPM have also invested £50k in 3D mechanical solid modelling design software for creating 3D digital prototypes using the design and simulation of products.
