Over 60 exhibitors at TCS&D Show
Visitors to the Temperature Controlled Storage & Distribution Exhibition & Conference will get to see a wide range of solutions for the cold supply chain.
Over 60 exhibitors will be showcasing their latest products and services at TCS&D 2019 – the UK’s only dedicated event for the cold storage and distribution sector – which takes place on 25th and 26th June at the East of England Arena in Peterborough.
Key industry figures will be presenting on a range of hot topics in the free-to-attend seminars, which are arranged across four ‘hubs’ over the two days. Visitors who are scanned into the event will also be able to catch up after the show on around 40 presentations via an exclusive link to access videos.
Among the speakers in the Innovation Hub will be Justin Laney, fleet manager for John Lewis Partnership, who will speak about the retailer’s aim to achieve a zero-carbon transport operation by 2045, including an explanation of the business case for a zero-carbon fleet. Also in the Innovation Hub, Gavin Knight (MD of Halo) and Danielle Lawrence (senior asset manager for iSec) will each give a presentation on new distribution facilities – at DP World London Gateway and Thames Enterprise Park respectively – that are dramatically cutting food miles.
Meanwhile, in the Logistics Hub, Robert Hardy (operations director and brexit advisor for Oakland Invicta) will be providing practical advice on how businesses can best navigate Brexit, including an in-depth look at border process challenges. Other speakers in the Logistics Hub include Paul Allera, technical director of the RHA; and Shane Brennan, chief executive of the FSDF.
Within the Refrigeration Hub, the Institute Of Refrigeration and Refcom will be conducting workshops and seminars throughout the show, some of which will be live-streamed on the 26th June to promote World Refrigeration Day (@WorldRefDay).
