Powerful fleet management tool launches

I.D. Systems, the well-known specialist for intelligent fleet management has launched PowerFleet Expert, its latest smart solution for the management of forklifts and other MHE.

This new OEM-neutral system was presented for the first time at this year’s LogiMAT and is now available.

Like all I.D. Systems management solutions, Expert focusses on increasing safety, meeting compliance requirements, optimising productivity and efficiency, and reducing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

In addition to its basic functionalities such as access control, electronic safety checklists, impact sensors, tailor-made reporting and analysis tools, the new system solution impresses with the simple and cost-reduced management of your vehicle fleet. Expert is offered as a SaaS solution, hosted in Germany, so no local IT resources or servers are required. Fleet operators and fleet managers simply log into the web-based infomatics software and get a comprehensive overview over their vehicles, usage and downtime, impacts, vehicle operators, maintenance intervals, speeds, and more. Data communication and data synchronisation between the vehicle hardware and the management software takes place in real time and automatically via Wi-Fi.

PowerFleet Expert is the modular extension to I.D. Systems' entry level fleet management PowerFleet Essence. Essence is the autonomous App-based (downloadable from the iOS App Store) solution which is suited for small forklift fleets. If the fleet grows, Essence can be upgraded to PowerFleet Expert without changing the vehicle hardware.
