Distance no obstacle to learning

Posted on Wednesday 3 June 2020

Forklift manufacturer Baoli has delivered distance learning logistics courses throughout the lockdown, training 90 partners in three months.

This initiative allowed the company to remain active during the health emergency while strengthening its commercial network of dealers worldwide.

The training covered issues concerning the new engine emission levels that are being introduced, to present the characteristics of the KBD50-100 and KBG 15-50 truck range, and to describe the sales support tools made available to its sales network.

Baoli trained local experts who were entrusted with the important task of transferring the contents of the courses into the language spoken in their country.

“Unfortunately, the Coronavirus emergency caused a slowdown in the logistics business, but it did not stop our company’s desire for growth and training,” explains Giovanni Culici, MD KION Baoli EMEA.

“We held three courses per month from March to May, with an average of 10 people per lesson, thus training a total of about 90 people. The in-depth webinars held so far allowed us to thoroughly illustrate the main aspects of logistics to our staff as well as providing valuable insights into our product portfolio, in addition to strengthening our dealer network all over the world.”
