Transition completed

The omni-channel distribution of Under Armour’s sports apparel products in the UK has completed a ‘zero defects start-up’ after moving to CEVA Logistics.

The milestone follows CEVA’s implementation of Under Armour’s UK e-commerce business as part of an on-going, multi-year contract. Up to 200 employees now operate from CEVA Logistics’ dedicated 75,000-square-foot distribution centre in Stanton Harcourt, Oxfordshire.

The facility features a range of technology and automation solutions, including a Master Pick Tote solution, an inbound sorter, powered conveying, automated guided vehicle (AGV) enabled lift trucks, Nerak lift systems, multiple storage media (including Storeganizer for returns), Put-To-Light Walls, Auto-baggers, an outbound sorter and the latest in warehouse management, control and execution technology.

Under Armour has decreased lead time from 10 working days to 2-3 working days.
