New manager for Birmingham warehouse

EUROPA WAREHOUSE has appointed Lukas Skowron to general manager at its Birmingham based warehouse.

Lukas Skowron has worked within the warehouse sector for over 16 years, most recently working as a site operations manager with some of the world’s most established logistics companies. The 180,000 sq ft Minworth facility employs team of 100.

He comments: “It’s a very exciting time to join the Europa Warehouse team which is continuing to grow and expand. For me personally, I see it as a huge opportunity to utilise my years of experience and key skills to develop and progress both the team and site and chance to challenge myself to become an even better person, leader and manager.

“Most importantly, we want to build stronger relationships with our existing customers and showcase that we are a reliable and trustworthy partner which can help to grow their business. In addition, we will be hiring new individuals with the right level of expertise to further develop our team.”

Europa Warehouse’s logistics director Maria Torrent March, adds: “Lukas is an ambitious and dedicated individual whose skill set will be key in the successful management of our Birmingham warehouse site. We are continuing to focus on the growth and development of our warehouse operation, following the opening of our state-of-the-art site in Corby last year.
