Posted on Wednesday 29 November 2023

THE 3PL has started the process to become carbon neutral as part of its wider net zero journey.

The Group manages over 1.3 million sq ft of warehouse space across Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and the North Midlands, and is partnering with Auditel to develop policies and practices to elevate its sustainability credentials and future-proof the business ahead of 2050.

Group communications manager Lucy Crapper, says: “In the coming years, environmental concerns will drive a shift towards more sustainable logistics practices. This includes considering the use of electric vehicles, exploring alternative fuels, and greener packaging solutions. Suppliers and customers will be increasingly conscious of their carbon footprint, demanding eco-friendly solutions.

“Overall, the future of logistics promises increased speed, efficiency, and sustainability. Both suppliers and customers will need to embrace these changes, adapt to new technologies, and leverage data-driven insights to stay competitive in the evolving landscape.”
