Name change for UK integrator
GEBHARDT INTRALOGISTICS UK is the new name for Gebhardt European Conveyor Systems.

Having joined the GEBHARDT Intralogistics Group in 2014, the new identity aligns the business with its international ties. The technology provider, based in Nottingham, manages all UK-based projects on behalf of the group. Its services include intralogistics system design, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance. These systems can benefit manufacturers and distributors in varied industries.
“Given that we’re working closely with our colleagues in Sinsheim, Germany, it made a lot of sense to change our name,” says GEBHARDT Intralogistics UK managing director Terry Pullen. “The new name highlights our global network that supports us in multinational intralogistics projects and our pride as a UK-based manufacturer.”
The UK site is one of the 17 branches owned by the group, which has significantly grown its international presence in the last decade.
A growing market
The warehouse automation market has been rapidly growing in the last decade and is set to double in the next five years. As consumers demand easier and quicker order fulfilment, supply chain businesses are turning to technology to support their operations.
Advanced solutions can improve intralogistics throughput, order accuracy, order traceability and energy efficiency. They can assist in a range of processes, including goods receipt, picking, sorting, dispatch, and returns management.
By implementing warehouse automation, businesses can streamline their processes and reduce human error. GEBHARDT Intralogistics UK’s solutions are designed to be flexible, so they can be easily adapted to changing business needs and requirements.
GEBHARDT Intralogistics Group, whose headquarters are based in Sinsheim, Germany, has significantly grown by partnering with successful intralogistics teams across the globe.
‘Customer expectations are heavily influenced by industry trends. The expectation of next-day delivery, for example, is being driven by the widespread adoption of automation to shorten lead times’ comments Marco Gebhardt, CEO of GEBHARDT Intralogistics Group. ‘Market competition is fierce, and brands can ensure longevity by embracing change. We aim to make automation more accessible to businesses by growing our global network.’
