CEVA LOGISTICS has won a long-term eCommerce fulfilment contract with fashion platform About You, for the management of a 40,000 sq m fulfillment operation in Poland.
CEVA will use its automation and technology capabilities to deliver greater productivity and shorter lead times for About You’s eCommerce activities, which are designed to provide the responsive logistics needed for its international expansion.
Approximately 1,000 employees are currently being recruited and trained to support the warehouse’s 24-hour operations. By strategically locating the new fulfilment distribution centre in Wroclaw-Magnice in southwestern Poland, the site can serve numerous countries. About You and CEVA say they will operate the new facility in a sustainable manner, with numerous solutions being implemented at the greenfield site, including solar panels for clean energy.
