Retail group signs deal with fulfilment specialist
CDS Superstores (trading as The Range and wilko) has partnered with THG Fulfil to take advantage of its fulfilment and courier management services.
THE AGREEMENT is part of CDS Superstores ongoing digital acceleration, delivering transformation across technology to enhance its omni-channel offer.
CDS Superstores CEO Alex Simpkin, says: “This strategic partnership with THG Fulfil will allow us to seamlessly handle pick and pack operations for a large proportion of our product range across each brand, in particular, the exciting relaunch of thousands of wilko branded items. With THG Fulfil’s advanced automated solutions, we’re able to meet the needs of households across the UK, delivering home and garden products directly to their doors quickly and efficiently.”
CDS Superstores will benefit from THG Fulfil’s extensive warehouse automation solutions, which allows for the movement of 95% of all units sold through a form of automation within its fulfilment journey. This includes a newly implemented fleet of Geekplus Goods-To-Person robots which have been installed at its Omega facility in Warrington.
