Tritax announces 2025 warehouse development

Tritax Big Box Developments (TBBD) has announced that it is progressing with some 2.57 million ft2 of warehouse development in 2025.

THE SPACE is being brought forward at Symmetry Park Biggleswade where development is already underway on the third phase with a 65,847 ft2 Warburtons unit as well as four further BREEAM Outstaing and EPC A rated units totalling some 750,000 ft2, in addition there is some 1.75 million ft2 currently in planning  at Tritax Park Oxford and another 270,000 ft2 in two units in planning for Symmetry Park Bicester.

Logistics Matters has already reported on new plans for Tritax  Park Oxford in an exclusive report last month.  This week TBBD announced that it had submitted planning for phase three at Symmetry Park Bicester with two units of 155,000 ft2 and 115,000 ft2.

Speaking about the development progress, Tom Leeming Director at TBBD said: “Bringing forward multiple phases of development at these well-established schemes further underlines our team’s ability to identify and create best in class space for our existing and prospective clients in prime locations, such as these sites across the Oxford-Cambridge corridor.”

There will be a staged completion of the facilities at Symmetry Park Biggleswade over a six-month period, starting from Autumn 2025 onwards.

Joint agents for Symmetry Park Biggleswade are Colliers and Bidwells while Savills and DTRE are joint letting agents for Symmetry Park, Bicester. Agents for Tritax Park Oxford are yet to be appointed.
