DP World green lights London Gateway expansion

The £1 billion project to add two further 400m all-electric berths and a second rail terminal will begin in May.

The £1 billion project to add two further 400m all-electric berths and a second rail terminal will begin in May.

IT IS expected to be completed in four years with DP World saying the work will make London Gateway the UK’s largest container port.

The expanded container port will be able to accommodate six of the world’s largest container ships.
