Briggs acquires access firms
BRIGGS EQUIPMENT Equipment has completed the acquisition of powered access equipment specialists Access Plus and its sister company, TrainingPlus, a nationwide training and skills provider.
Operating from three sites in Scotland, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Irvine, Access Plus has delivered high quality powered access solutions to customers throughout the UK since 1998. The company manages approximately 700 powered access assets, which will help bolster Briggs Equipment’s comprehensive fleet of access equipment and increase coverage in Scotland.
The acquisition of TrainingPlus brings a fully established and well renowned health & safety training provider within the Briggs Equipment Group. The courses and skills delivered by TrainingPlus cover a wide range of subjects and specialities, which perfectly complement the industrial equipment solutions provided by Briggs.
