Imagine the way
A look at Interroll’s Imagine the Way roadshow, a Europe-wide project to engage with customers on their premises.

THE TRUCK and trailer contains a lego model of a warehouse, interactive video and insight into recent studies completed by the manufacturer which provides system integrators and OEMs with a wide range of conveying and sortation products and services.
The industry is changing fast. According to Interroll’s European study, energy efficiency is one of the top priorities for every company nowadays. What are the right ways to invest, which technologies are sustainable, and how can you best optimise your material flow? These are the kind of questions Interroll is looking to help businesses with, both on its roadshow and in its everyday operations.
Interroll is also able to share insights from its survey of around 150 managing directors and business leaders, focusing on value-adding processes and asking how best to stay ahead of competitors when you decide to collaborate with partners.

The company also outlines how to best harmonise the interaction of machines, people and processes in a manufacturing environment.
Interroll UK managing director Hilton Campbell said: “The roadshow allows Interroll to demonstrate what it can do for customers in a modern, memorable way. The features illustrate what we can do very effectively. For example, the Lego model of a smart, modern warehouse illustrates the full spectrum of what we can achieve in the warehouse across many processes from conveying, to picking, sortation, storage and more.
“We were known 63 years ago as a supplier of rollers, now we are known as a solution provider. SMEs want a reliable partner, a one stop shop.
“Furthermore, the roadshow is about customer comfort, we’re making this easy and convenient for the customers that we visit on the roadshow.”
New products
Interroll has unveiled many product innovations and partnerships this year including a new plug-and-play conveyor platform for automated production environments. The Light Conveyor Platform (LCP) allows all system integrators to implement scalable belt conveyor sections very easily in order to quickly meet customer-specific automation requirements for material flow.
Interroll and intralogistics software firm viastore have agreed to work more closely together in the field of conveyor technology in the future, with viastore set to use Interroll's conveyor technology products in its projects in the future. In addition, the two companies aim to use joint technology platforms, exchange know-how and use tools to optimise processes from planning to installation.
Perhaps the most exciting new release is the new material-handling solutions for the food and pharmaceutical industries. Interroll is expanding its existing product offering of conveyor solutions for additional industries with the launch of new platform technologies that meet stringent hygienic requirements. Based on the benefits offered by Interroll's globally successful technology platforms, the new Modular Hygienic Platform (MHP) will now also make available flexibly applicable modular solutions based on the principles of hygienic product design. This makes it possible to significantly improve food safety and shelf life—while at the same time optimising energy and operational efficiency. The innovation offensive in this area is being launched with the Special Hygienic Conveyor (SHC) and the Ultra Hygienic Transfer (UHT).
