Demag Cranes revamps forklift fleet

ND Lift Trucks has delivered six new forklifts, a new access platform and two sweeping machines to Demag Cranes in Banbury.

Demag is part of the Terex Corporation and the trucks are part of the investment being made in its new UK acquisition.

The trucks include three Hyundai models (a 3.2 ton 4 wheel electric counterbalance, a 2.0 ton three wheeler and a 1.6 ton reach truck) plus three Warrior electric stackers. The access platform is from Genie (which is also within the Terex Group) with a maximum work height of 32 feet, and the cleaning machines are an RCM ride-on model and a compact Windsor.

All of the machines have been supplied on a 6 year full maintenance lease.

ND Lift Trucks has been a forklift dealer in Corby for 25 years and has been the Hyundai main dealer in Northamptonshire since 2005. It moved to new (much larger) premises last year and has great ambitions for the future. With a current rental fleet of around 80 machines, it has invested heavily in new equipment over the last five years.
