Dolav aces tests

TÜV SÜD has been putting the Dolav Ace to the test. The independent test body has dropped, crushed, spiked and rotated the plastic pallet box, which is claimed to have outperformed other, apparently similar, products.

According to Dolav, best ‘price-for-spec’ does not tell the real life’ story, and not all products are ‘abuse ready’ for real-world recycling tasks like the Dolav Ace.

For example, at Mosley Waste Management, Simon Mosley has a simple solution to mechanically handling food waste. “If we use IBCs they only last two or three months if we are lucky, but a Dolav Ace lasts for years, it only costs about twice the price of an IBC and we can sell used Dolavs years later, still in good condition, for the same as an IBC costs.”
