Toyota gets closer to its customers in the North West

Toyota Material Handling UK will be providing support to the North West this October by exhibiting at two regional exhibitions, with the focus on providing valuable advice on improving safety in the workplace as well as giving visitors the opportunity to view the latest product range and supporting services.

The Health and Safety North exhibition at the Bolton Arena, Bolton (Stand 74), 9th – 10th October 2013 will be a key event in Toyota’s events calendar, following the success of Health & Safety Scotland in April; and will be an important part of Toyota’s focus on helping customers to reduce the risk of injury and accidents in the workplace.
As well as providing advice on safe manual handling and distributing free safety resources, the stand will also feature a range of manual and powered pallet trucks designed to help reduce manual handling. These include a BT Pro Lifter hand pallet truck that requires up to 67% less start up effort than a conventional hand pallet truck, a BT High Lifter hand pallet truck which features an ergonomic work station and the compact BT Levio powered pallet truck, all designed to move loads safely and efficiently.
In order to reach customers even further within the North West region, Toyota will also be exhibiting for the second year at Wigan Business Expo, D W Stadium, Wigan (Stand S47), 11th October, which aims to put key decision makers together with local suppliers to further develop business links and offer free, impartial advice from a range of industry experts.

David Prescott, National Sales Manager, Toyota Material Handling UK, who is responsible for the North West said: “October will still be a busy month for our teams in the North West region. We are excited to be of part these exhibitions which allow us the chance to get closer to our customers. These regional events act like a one stop shop for many businesses looking to improve their business operations, and it is fantastic to be able to take our team and a range of trucks directly to a local venue.”
Prescott adds “We have also developed a number of free safety resources that provide tips for forklift safety, manual handling and the correct operation of equipment. The Toyota team on stand at these events will be on hand to provide advice on safe manual handling as well as to help companies improve productivity and efficiency in their operation”.
