sara LBS has supplied a selection of loading bay equipment to a leading UK supermarket chain for use in its store at the Trinity Leeds shopping centre.
The supermarket specified sara LBS equipment based on the reliability of equipment installed in other stores. Parts supplied include scissor lifts and dock levellers as well as fire roller shutter doors which have been connected to the store’s fire alarm system.
Because the store would only have one loading bay it was essential that the equipment would operate reliably with no unplanned downtime. The scissor lift was specified with a 2.5t load capacity and the dock leveller, which features a swing lip for easier load transfer, with a 6t capacity.
