Cat Footwear has supplied Lotus F1 Team with the Kaufman boot, a lightweight and comfortable safety boot.
The boot features ERGO, an ergonomic design which is said to reduce fatigue. ERGO is a series of design principals which work together to deliver footwear that promotes foot health by integrating stability, flexibility and comfort – enhancing the natural movements of the foot.
Team principal, Eric Boullier, said: “The Cat work boots and shoes supplied to the team are extremely lightweight and comfortable and have a great deal of flex and stability, which is important for the skilled engineers, mechanics and machinist who work on our F1 cars.”
