Strapping system
Specialist in end-of-line pack and pallet securement, Gordian Strapping has supplied a new strapping system to Manchester-based Icopal UK.
When Icopal required a new strapping system to automate the strapping of roofing membranes and reduce manual labour, it chose Gordian to provide a solution, due to the solid reputation of the OMS equipment and excellent after sales service and support.
Gordian supplied Icopal with two machines; an OMS 06RP Horizontal Pallet Strapper and an OMS 875 Side Seal Pallet Strapper. The 06RP applies one horizontal strap to each pallet of roofing felt. A shrink hood is then applied to the pallet. Finally the 875 applies two vertical straps to the pallet to provide further securement.
