Custom-off-the-shelf
AIDC Solutions’ custom-off-the-shelf (COTS) warehouse management system is now fully RFID-enabled and uses ‘fast, flexible, smart’ AIDC system building blocks that allow a WMS to be fully tailored for the user but at a lower, packaged software price, according to the company.
The same technology also allows the WMS to be deployed within 25 days from user brief to go-live, says AIDC.
AIDC-WHM has been developed for use by all manufacturing, distribution and third party logistics organisations. Its technology is open and can be integrated with all enterprise applications, including SAP and other leading ERP systems.
The system runs in Windows (or UNIX) and is suitable for single and multi-site, national and international, multi-lingual use. It can be deployed standalone or can exchange information with many other business functions including logistics, production and planning.
