Redirack enters administration

The well known warehouse storage company Redirack was placed into administration yesterday (Wednesday 15 January).

RediGroup Chairman Phil Culling said: “This is a very sad day for our customers, suppliers and from a personal view point the 89 people that were made redundant with immediate effect.”

Culling thanked those who had supported the brand over the years and vowed to rebuild the company.

“We apologise to those we have let down and thank those who have supported us over the years. The work to re-build this great brand and emerge again has started so hopefully we will be back,” he said.

In 2012 RediRack was one of 11 companies in Yorkshire and Humber that were together awarded a Regional Growth Fund grant totalling £26m.

Those requiring further information are urged to contact administrators PwC.

HSS says:

“It is a shock to hear of such a highly regarded brand going into administration. We feel for the talented people at Redirack who have been made redundant and wish them good fortune in finding new employment.”
