GHS requirements met

CILS has developed the 8100GHS range of thermal transfer and laser computer printable self-adhesive colour labels to help meet the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of classification and labelling of chemical drums and containers.

GHS requires that by the end of 2014 manufacturers and end users include specific information on all primary and secondary container labels, including product identifiers, signal words, colour pictograms, hazard statements and supplier identification.

To assist industry manufacturers and end users, the 8100GHS durable self-adhesive label range features a ‘pre-printed’ solvent resistant coating, allowing users to add variable data ‘in-house’ and ‘on-demand’.
