This lightweight, Class 1 instrument is “an up-to-the-minute pocket-sized demon”, offering features such as audio event recording, detachable pre-amp & microphone, a dosimeter function and a vast time/history logging capability.

Conforming to IEC 61672-1 standard, the 971 is perfect for suitable for short period environmental and general acoustic noise measurement. It provides broadband results with all required weighting filters, as well as 1/1 octave & 1/3 octave analysis. It has a high-contrast colour OLED-type display and can be successfully operated in a wide range of temperatures and environments.
